My Real Name

Keisha was born in Brooklyn, NY and raised by the weirdest quartet of individuals ever forced together for a common goal. She loves comic books, silence, gardening, movies, tv, musicals, philosophical discussions, and music. Keisha absolutely abhors small talk and is usually adopted into friend groups. Keisha is an HBCU alumnus (1854) and former educator in Philadelphia with over 10 years of experience in the education system. When she’s not corralling her husband, kids, dog, and chickens, she’s active across the internet as @theblerdlibrary, where she talks about all things QT+BIPOC speculative fiction in books and comics.

 Welcome!!! At Neon Moons, we use speculative storytelling written by Black, Indigenous, and other Authors of Color as the foundation to reimagine new futures for marginalized folx in our reality.
